Broadcast Automation Forward TA
The "Forward T" family inherits the best features of thousands of "Forward" systems installed all over the world and their operating experience of many years. The product line systems are based on the FD300 board
Hardware-software complex for broadcast automation (OnAir software included)
The FD300 board, cable for connecting video and audio signals and the software are supplied in the delivery set
Forward TA - multifunctional system of broadcast automation successfully combining the best of both worlds: on-air broadcast control and automatically broadcasting by the schedule.
The system includes the "Forward T" product and the broadcast automation software FDOnAir, which supports:
• Displaying external video and captions
• Playing animation and audio files
• Overlaying logotype, crawl line, clock, and other multilayer animated titles (includes the "Forward TT" product functionality with the ability of playing audio from files)
The professional performance at a moderate price opens a wide range of possible applications in medium-sized studios as well as in large TV companies.
The main characteristic features of the system which are the basis of its multifunctionality and universality
Broadcasting from the same schedule:
• live video

• overlaying CG with alpha channel (logotypes, titles, clips)

• DV, DVCAM, DVCPRO, DVCPRO50 (Canopus, Matrox)
• MPEG2 I-frame (Matrox)

• M-JPEG (Forward, including with a transparency channel)

• Audio to video from a separate file (.AVI + .WAV)
• Supporting two schedules («programme dummy» - «commercial dummy», «broadcast», «preparation», «working schedule» - «reserve schedule»)
• Interactively changing the schedule «at the last minute»

The Auto Detect program for automatically inserting commercials by the cue tone (DTMF, jingles) is offered as an additional option.
Network Broadcast
Forward T product line software allows you to provide network broadcast using Windows Media Encoder or Flash Media Encoder technologies.
Data can be captured both from the FD300 board input (two independent channels) and output (after inserting commercials, overlaying logotype,
crawl line, etc.)
Using special DirectShow filters, the data are transferred to programs compressing them to stream in Windows Media and/or Flash Live formats.
There are various standard means to show the streams in the network.
Operating System: Windows 2000 SP4, Windows XP SP2 (important: Windows 9x/ME are not supported)

Video & Audio Capture
Using Forward T products, you can capture video and audio to AVI files. To compress video, you can use any video codec Video for Windows (intraframe) installed in the system. The software package includes several video codecs for popular video formats: DV, Motion JPEG, MPEG2 I-Frame, optimized for maximum performance (multiprocessor support included). Audio is captured without compression (Linear PCM, 16 bit).
Features:
all analog signal formats in the NTSC, PAL, SECAM standards are supported
TBC for working with unstable signal (e.g. VHS recorders)
hardware synchronization of video and audio
automatic capture by the schedule
controlling the recorder when capturing data (Sony Betacam RS-422, Sony RS-232 protocols)
when capturing, simultaneous playback of video and titles is possible
Capture is performed using the FDCapture application included in the software package.
