SDI-Board for connecting SDI input & output.
Hardware option for Forward TS-IP and Forward TS-ASI products
To get a high-quality image when using "Forward T" products, the ability to connect digital video signal sources/receivers via the SDI-in/out option is available.
An SDI board is installed on the FD300 board, the connector strip being securely attached to the case.
There are three BNC connectors for the input/output SDI signals (video with embedded audio):
- SDI input - SMPTE-259M-C receiver block provides receiving the ITU-R-601 digital video signal
- SDI output - SMPTE-259M-C transmitter block provides transmitting the ITU-R-601 digital video signal
To power up, use a standard connector on the board such as for the floppy disk drive.
Important: the power supply is connected to the FD300 board only (the power cord comes with the SDI option).
